Alexander Hoehn-Saric is legal counsel for communications and media issues for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation under Chairman John D. Rockefeller. Prior to joining the Committee, Hoehn-Saric served as counsel for Senator Barbara Boxer where he worked on communications and technology issues. Previously, he was an associate in the Communications Department in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham &Watkins, where he worked on regulatory and transactional matters for satellite, media, and Internet-based companies. Prior to that, he was an associate in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell. Hoehn-Saric also clerked for the Honorable Benson Everett Legg in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago.
