Chris Young

As Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Solutions Business Unit at RSA, The Security Division of EMC, Christopher Young is responsible for driving the division's consumer protection strategy, including the broad portfolio of products and services designed to bolster security and confidence in the online channel by protecting organizations, their brands, and their customers against fraud and the latest online threats.
As a leading expert in topics related to online business and Internet security, Mr. Young has spoken at numerous industry events including Gartner IT Security Summit, Congressional Internet Caucus's "State of the Net", BITS Authentication Forum, Digital ID World, RSA Conference U.S., RSA Conference Europe, and others.
Mr. Young was most recently the vice president of safety and security premium services for America Online, Inc. (AOL). While at AOL, he launched and managed several services including AOL® Passcode and McAfee® VirusScan® Online - some of the most successful premium offerings in AOL's history.
Prior to joining AOL, Mr. Young founded and was president of Cyveillance, Inc., a firm leveraging search technologies to help companies manage business risk related to their intellectual property on the Internet. He also spent several years in various advisory positions with Mercer Management Consulting.
Mr. Young graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and received his Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
