Elizabeth Board
EPC Global
Elizabeth Board was appointed Executive Director of the EPCglobal Public Policy Steering Committee in April 2004. The EPCglobal Public Policy Steering Committee was created to foster open dialogue with key audiences around public policy and other important areas relative to EPC technologies and the EPCglobal Network.
Ms. Board has been a public affairs consultant to a variety of industries, politicians and corporate executives. She has also worked in communications and public affairs for ACNielsen, the Readers Digest Association and the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States.
Ms. Board also worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture as deputy assistant secretary for administration. She was responsible for management and policy development in five agencies.
She worked for President Ronald Reagan, first as special assistant to the President and director of the television office, later as deputy assistant to the President and director of the media and broadcast relations office.
Before joining the administration, Ms. Board worked in the Washington bureau of NBC Network Television News as senior unit manager and network news editor.
Ms. Board earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, at the University of Colorado and a Masters of Business Administration at George Washington University.
