Franck Journoud

Director of Cybersecurity Policy, Business Software Alliance

As Director of Cybersecurity Policy, Franck Journoud coordinates Business Software Alliance's global cybersecurity policy initiatives, advising BSA members on policy developments and advocating their positions.

Before joining BSA, Journoud served as Manager of Government & Industry Affairs for RSA Security, representing the company before government and industry coalitions worldwide, with a particular focus on online consumer identity protection in the US and Europe. He has also served as Director of Public Policy for the European-American Business Council, and as a Research Associate and Communications Director for the Economic Strategy Institute.

Journoud holds a Master of Arts in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the Sorbonne in Paris, France. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Public and International Law from the University of Poitiers, France, and also studied Law at the University of Cambridge (Trinity Hall college), UK. He is based in BSA's Washington, DC, office.
