Jeremy Pelofsky has spent almost 14 years in Washington, DC as a journalist, working at Bloomberg News for over two years and at Reuters News for the last 11-plus years.

Jeremy has broken news on many significant stories and covered major events ranging from the White House and the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks to the global financial crisis in 2008, the BP oil spill and terrorism cases. He has reported on presidential and congressional elections, including a stint covering the White House during the George W. Bush administration, traveling globally with the president and first lady. Previously, he spent nearly six years covering the Federal Communications Commission, including mergers, spectrum auctions, wiretapping issues, net neutrality, and media ownership issues. He also has covered the Securities and Exchange Commission, International Monetary Fund and World Bank.

Jeremy has most recently been writing about the Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security, including WikiLeaks, the BP oil spill, efforts to improve U.S. aviation security, terrorism cases and corporate crime.
