Michael Fertik, CEO-ReputationDefender - Michael Fertik is a repeat Internet entrepreneur and CEO with experience in technology and law. He created ReputationDefender to defend a person and their family's good name on the Internet.
Mr. Fertik is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. After law school, he clerked for Chief Judge Danny J. Boggs of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States.
In 1999, Michael Fertik helped launch BrandStamp, a leading online product registration service. He was an integral force in the early formation of the company and helped shape their focus and product specification. Mr. Fertik has taught at Harvard University and has worked as a lobbyist in the anti-tobacco lobby. He is a published author on numerous topics and has served as assistant director of Fairfield County ACT!, a non-profit trust with notable experience in state-level legislative advocacy. Mr. Fertik is a member of the board of directors of TruExchange.
Michael is also founder and chairman of Campaign for a National Majority (CNM). While in college in 1999, he started an enterprise class software company, raising $7 million from leading venture capital funds and building the business to more than thirty employees with public and private customers in North America and Europe.
