Shannon Kellogg

Shannon Kellogg is director of government and industry affairs for RSA Security Inc. (www.rsasecurity.com), serving as the company's senior liaison to government agencies, legislatures, international organizations, and as RSA Security's lead representative in national and global industry associations and coalitions.

Prior to joining RSA Security Inc., Kellogg was Director of Information Security Policy at the Business Software Alliance. Kellogg also served as Vice President of Information Security Policy & Programs at the Information Technology Association of America. Prior to his role as Vice President at ITAA, he served as Executive Director of the Global Internet Project, an international coalition of senior executives committed to fostering continued growth of the Internet.

Mr. Kellogg also has extensive experience in the foreign affairs arena -- with particular regional expertise on Middle Eastern, Turkish, and Mongolian affairs -- having served as a Program Officer for the International Republican Institute during the 1990s.

Since February 2004, Kellogg has been a Member of the Board of Officers of the National Cyber Security Alliance (www.staysafeonline.org), a national public-private partnership to educate users on information security practices, an initiative that he helped to establish earlier this decade. Kellogg also has been RSA Security's representative on the Management Board of the Liberty Alliance Project (www.projectliberty.org) since January 2005.

Mr. Kellogg received his M.A. from George Mason University - School of Public Policy, in Fairfax, Virginia and B.A. from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri.
