Rashad Hussain

Rashad Hussain is an attorney at the Justice Department’s National Security Division. He previously served as President Obama’s Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and as US Special Envoy for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications. Rashad has also worked at the White House Counsel’s Office and the Global Engagement Directorate of the National Security Council. He received his JD from Yale Law School, where he was an editor on the Yale Law Journal, and holds Masters degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies and in Public Administration (Kennedy School of Government) from Harvard University.
