Grace Agnew, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey

Grace Agnew is the Associate University Librarian for Digital Library Systems at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She is the architect and principal investigator for the NSF-funded Moving Image Collections project (http://mic.imtc.gatech.edu/), a union catalog and gateway of the world's moving image collections as well as the principal architect for the New Jersey Digital Highway (http://www.njdigitalhighway.org) a statewide digital repository of cultural and historical materials. She is the author or co-author of numerous articles and on metadata, digital video and digital rights management. She is the co-author of the book, Getting Mileage out of Metadata (ALA, 1999) and is currently authoring a book, Digital Rights Management, a Practical Guide for Libraries, for Chandos Press, a division of Oxford University Press (September 2005, forthcoming).
